Here's what I'm up to at the moment:

Fun

My new year's resolution for 2021 was to have more fun! Since then, I've been pushing the envelope.

Here's what I've been doing:

• Being more active on social media and sometimes updating this website. 
• Making videos for my Travel Fun Music YouTube Channel so Charlie and I can build friendships with other travel nomands and bikepacking / bicycle touring fanatics. I've created a Travel Fun Music webiste and Travel Blog too.
• Setting up the Adventures of a Fat Man blog and Adventures of a Fat Man YouTube Channel to record hiking, bikepacking and other adventures with Charlie! This is where I post most of our vlogs now.
• Establishing the Editing History publishing house, as an excuse to read more when I want to.
• Playing Uckers and Chess with Charlie. We don't often share our Uckers games on our Uckers Blog and Uckers YouTube Channel , but we might do it again in the future.

Books

I take books seriously, but I have great fun working on them when I have time! Here's the list so far:

• Parson Dick of Pinginup - This short story was lost to history. The author, May Gibbs, is the loved creator of 'Snugglepot and Cuddlepie'. But, this work is not cute. It's disturbing and worthy of critical evaluation and debate. Does 'iconic' Australian author's legacy include works that help us confront issues in Australian society, rather than our traditional view of her as the Author who just entertains children with cute animals?
• The Tryst at the Dead Oak: 1890 Vintage Short Story - A special edition of a timeless tail by an outrageous emancipated woman from Scotland. It had been lost to history... until now!
• The Writing of Fiction: Special Edition - Exploring the timeless advice of Edith Wharton, the first woman to win a Pulitzer Prize. 
• The Land That Time Forgot: Special Edition - Celebrating women in the Navy. (Release date: 2nd April 2021)
• The Mysterious Affair at Styles: Special Edition - Celebrating the intellect of Agatha Christie
• Madame Poirot Investigates: Special Edition - Celebrating the intellect of Agatha Christie
• Climate Hazard Risk Management in Local Government (2013) - Thanks to funding from the Australian Government and colleagues at the University of Queensland. 

Digital Business

I'm working on the following digital business projects:

• Editing History (NEW!) - Feminist publication house.
• jacoi - Vegan marketing agency & authority site.
• Happy & Sunny - Vegan Donut brand, growing via brand licensing. 
• Australian Accent YouTube Channel - This channel helps people learn Australian English.
